TOYDRUM are a Brighton based electronic music duo formed in 2013 by Pablo Clements and James Griffith. The pair work met in 2007 when they were both recruited for UNKLE both live and in the studio. Clements and Griffith both instantly clicked and new they had something special. After they exited UNKLE they decided to build a studio on the Brighton Seafront which has been home to artists such as Nick Cave and Paolo Nutini and is the permanent home of TOYDRUM.

In 2014 James and Pablo released there first album 'Distant Focus Vol 1' where they collaborated with such artists as Gavin Clark and Joel Wells. A year later they embarked on completing 'Evangelist' posthumous album with the late great Gavin Clark. The album was very well received by both fans and critics as well as featuring on Shane Meadows 'This Is England '90'

During 2015 the duo worked on two scores, the first being London Fields directed by Mathew Cullen and starring Billy Bob Thornton, Johnny Depp, Amber Heard, Jim Sturgess and Cara Delevingne. The second film they worked on was Christopher Smith film Detour starring Tye Sheridan, Emory Cohen and Bel Powley. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on 16 April 2016. The score has also been shortlisted for a BIFA Award.


In 2016 TOYDRUM worked with their good friend Alice Lowe on the score to her first feature film Prevenge, which premiered at Venice and Toronto film festivals. The film received incredible reviews and the score was featured on a number of end of year lists for score of the year.

With the help of some good friends James and Pablo released 'My Eye On You (To Reinvision)' in 2017, an album full of reworked Gavin Clark songs.   

TOYDRUM have just finished working on Future World a film staring James Franco, Snoop Dogg, Lucy Lui and Milla Jovovich, while also working on their second album.
